Filming has begun in Crete for "The Island", our production based on the international bestseller written by Victoria Hislop and adapted for the screen by Mirella Papaeconomou. It is expected to be the largest television production in recent years. "The Island" sold more than 1.000.000 copies internationally.  The direction is under the awarded and highly acclaimed Theo Papadoulakis. The drama series will air during the 2010-2011 television season on Mega TV on prime time and it is expected to reach more than 40% average viewer ratings!  The cast includes many well-known and accomplished actors, such as Katerina Lehou, Stelios Mainas, Emilios Chilakis, Alexandros Logothetis, Orfeas Avgoustidis, Nikos Orfanos, Youlika Skafida, Evgenia Dimitropoulou, Annita Kouli, Tatiana Papamoschou, Ian Hislop and many more.
